Yes, almost everything is PLA. But some flat parts deformed standing in the window in the sun. Like the shelf and the top of the pedestal. So I use PETG for these now.
And the transparency PLA I have for the "optics" is quite yellow. So I have PETG for that now also, it is more clear.
You can see it in the star lenses still.

The line of Zeiss projectors all in a row reminds me of a picture from the Zeiss factory that show several projectors in the building process.

I wonder as Albert of The Bad Toelz Planetarium in Germany has a puppet theater and has now added a planetarium. Some of his exploits can be found on these pages.

Hi Ron, Cool picture from that assembly line. Uh "puppet shows"? My little 1 meter! Planetarium is just a home hobby thing hey. The "puppets" are 3DSMax models printed in PLA and painted. Not "adjustable" or so. But wow, I never heard of that Bad Toelz Planetarium, that looks very nice! Must visit that once I am in the neighborhood.

...the structures on top have absolutely nothing to do with the little dome. They are just standing there. It is a completely different project for Planetaria. These are PlanetScanners I made. It was intended for children birthday parties in the Planetarium. Children (or grown-ups ;-) ) paint there own planet. Put the planet on the scanner,.. type in you're name and date of birth,... and 30 seconds later you're planet has become a unique location in the universe rotating around it's own star. The location is calculated based on you're name and date of birth. It works with Sky-Skan's Digitalsky and DarkMatter.

My jaw has dropped even further! What a wonderful idea. Which planetarium are you based at?
