Might be something akin to the quarterly Planetarian booklet magazine thing, published on Amazon and available for a few bucks (pricing uncertain). I'm soliciting initial poems/short stories/blurbs of SHORT length. I can put in some of my haunted podcast transcripts (and will do regardless if anyone else wants to contribute) and maybe we'll start a quarterly tradition, who can say. Here's a strange kickoff picture of some recent tin can stuff. Here is how you could read the ebook on a computer, they are a couple bucks, 4 a year for example would be 8 bucks, thats what i used to charge in dues back in the 90s!. you could print them MAYBE from there too if you didnt want to pop for the paperback with fancy cover, although ive not tested that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can read Kindle books on a PC by downloading the Kindle for PC app or using the Kindle Cloud Reader. Kindle books can only be read in the official Amazon Kindle app, on a Kindle device, or via the Kindle Cloud Reader. Attachments:

Personally I would love to see the newsletter back in print once again.

Personally I would love to see the newsletter back in print once again.
the idea is to print it locally on your printer. i just tested the kindle for pc app on a couple kindles i bought for like a buck and you can copy and paste the text anywhere you want to it appears. you do have to have an amazon account though. NOW would you love to see it back in print lol. i'd love to have it in a glossy quarterly volume like the Planetarian on the shelf. the good thing is, i could practice on old HPA volumes. the same old viewer vs participant discussion reappears though, nobody has sent me anything. so how it would work is to be determined. but the pc app does appear to work, so thats a good first step!

One problem in todays age is that people don't want to wait, or perhaps they don't want to take the chance of the post office lousing the newsletter.
As to kindle, why go through learning something new when you could just attach it to a bulk email, if I'm going to print it myself, that's the easy way and I don't need another app to digest. You could set up a free forum like this one. You could just add a new thread here. After all, the entire idea of this BB is to try and bring everyone to one place to share ideas and problems (perhaps strength in numbers...perhaps a fools errand).
Things worked in their time, your newsletter in the 90's, OC in the new century. And yet, a lot of the old catfish here that received the last of the printed newsletters, welcomed them and went to a cool quiet place where they could savor the content all in one sitting.
