Too bad I don't have a date but I found this single page of the support system for my second generation projector design. The first design didn't have the 23.5 degree tilt as I really didn't understand at the time. This allowed the original design to fit in the large center section with a 23.5 tilt. I was going to use "O" gage train track around the center section as power slip rings. I was young building more of a artistic model of a projector then a working one. Thankfully this never made it into production and getting the book "From The Aratus Globe To The Zeiss Planetarium" enlightened me as to how these projectors actually worked. From there came my third generation idea which made it out west with me.

What a brilliant idea - model train tracks for slip rings!!! I think I must have missed the third generation build/ design was it on the old OC? Is it here somewhere?

At the time I had some old broken "O" gage tracks but found that they couldn't be bent evenly to different diameters. I had thought about HO gage as they had long track pieces that could be bent to many diameters. I didn't even know about "N" gage which would probably be the best.
I believe it was posted on the very early site when pictures were at a different location. I will try and find the pictures or just take new ones. Honestly I don't remember if I put anything here or not. Such is the condition of my mind today.
