I'm not even sure if and what/when the pro's are doing. Do any of you home planetarians have any plans or is it business as usual.

I have a half baked/ poorly thought out plan - there is a fulldome festival in the Market Hall dome in Plymouth later this year. They have advertised for submissions of films and presentations etc. I was thinking about offering a presentation on amateur planetariums and perhaps cranking up the Goto GE6S in a corner of their dome (which is way too big for it). If I make sufficient progress on the 3D modelling it would include a display of classic projector models. It is probably just another pipe dream.

The GE6S was a pipe dream and look what happened there.

So on June 13th I will have been giving shows for a decade in a year that represents the 100th year of the projection planetarium. Since I have no idea how many more years I will last, I think it is time for a party or celebration? So if the big boys can celebrate for well over a year, I can do it for a week or so. I am declaring June 8th through the 16th as amateur planetarians symposium week. This is like the third whenever it happens, it happens, kind of thing that never happened. I will come up with a schedule of events if anyone signs up as it is much too much work if no one comes (which is probably the case).

10 years - another awesome milestone.
Do you plan to hold any remote sessions (maybe Whatsapp or Zoom?) If so count me in. I am unable to attend in person for obvious reasons.

Just fine (but thanks for asking). Just a lot of things happening all at once. From taxes, to weeds, from the June column to general life and things needing to get done. Also need to upgrade my church from 1990's VHS level system to hi-def and go on line live with no budget requires re-wiring everything in like three different buildings. (and yes, they want it yesterday)
I do try and check in here every day but more often think I will answer that or experiment with that later as I need to do this today or finish this before the week is out. I haven't even sent out a show schedule for this month as I've been bombarded. I need to learn to say NO as I cannot keep up as I once could.
So yes, I'm alive and I guess well (who knows what goes on inside ones body) and should catch up to a more normal schedule fairly soon.

Glad you are well - I understand the packed schedule you are describing is called retirement!
