I do believe there is talk of a follow up Beetlejuice but I don't know how far it has gotten. I'm wondering about the remake of "Them". The original is so good it would be hard to top.

Beetlejuice was filming in May and June. I'm not at all sure if they finished before the strike. That could put a steak in the heart of Hollywood production. Sad as they were just getting out of the Covid 19 debacle. But then who knows, WWIII might start anytime soon and all is for naught.
Talked to Moon last week and he is still having problems reading small print.

For those wondering about Mr. Moon he was in the path of that last huricane but managed to survive it. Here is the last email I received from him just today.
I am located only 3-4 counties northeast from the "big bend" area of Florida that borders the Gulf of Mexico where the Hurricane came ashore with sustained winds of over 125 mph. By the time it reached me here is south-central Georgia it was down to 75-85 mph sustained winds with a few gusts to perhaps 95 mph. As I had removed the 350+ pine trees from the immediate 6 acres which have the house, barn and pool on them there were no trees remaining close enough to the house to do any damage. My neighbor had 7 trees fall on his house including one which crushed his central air conditioning unit, as in flattened it!
My power was out 5 days, with internet and cable TV out for 15-16 days. Since I am still having visual issues I actually missed the cable TV more than the internet. For example, it has taken me almost a half-hour for typing this email alone.
I really don't know what to post on the planetariums as a hobby site at this point as my dream seems to have passed me by with my health issues of the last 22 months. UNLESS I can become well enough to return to work, there will be NO money to fund any of the "dream." Living almost fully on Social Security and 2 very small pensions just barely pay the remaining monthly bills.
And so it goes.

I do feel for Mr. Moon and his realization that his dream has possibly passed him by. This again makes me reiterate that whatever your dream is, get it done now, for tomorrow can hold things which you can't imagine today. I do know that if I were at the beginning of my project today, I would not be able to do it. I no longer have the physical stamina, cash flow, or mental drive to accomplish a project of this magnitude. And yet, just doing it, I have been able to enjoy the dream for almost a decade. Yes, June 13th, 2024 will mark the tenth anniversary of my first show. This is worth a celebration even if I am the only one who comes.
The list, for me, of things happening in 2024 keeps getting longer:
2024 was my address in Chicago where I was born 2024 is the full year of the centennial of the projection planetarium 2024 my planetarium will be ten years old 2024 will provide the US with a total eclipse of the sun 2024 my age will reach the fastest record speed
Strange coincidences (if they are coincidences) but mileposts in my life's timeline. What other strange things will happen, only time will tell, but I will continue in my strange ways until I am no longer able. What I do know is there will be a lot more parties then just one.

2024 was my address in Chicago where I was born
there IS an odd coincidence with me, or at least my lucky numbers 11 and 18. my address where I was born was 1118 Portland Street, Collinsville IL. Its also my 'rebirth' sober date, 11-18 in 09.
