An outgrowth of my “car guy” hobby (1954 4x4 Willys Wagon, 1969 MG Midget Mark III) is Petroliana. Basically collecting anything related to old gas stations. in my case I collect Petroliana related to Standard Oil of Indiana (think Rockefeller) that includes antique gas pumps, signs, oil cans, gas pump globes (crowns in my case), a highway billboard, miscellaneous smalls and the biggest item, a mid 1920’s Pacific Steel prefabricated gas station I am restoring for the back yard. it helps to have an understanding wife. No money wasted on the golf course, she can find me in the shop! Someday she will have a great auction and enjoy the “investment “ I did for her!

Beautiful collection! I'm guessing you took that entire gas station apart and are rebuilding it at home? Also love the size of your shop. I need some space like that. My problem is that no matter how much space I have, it always fills up so I need more. I must move in the other direction.

Thanks for the compliment.
actually purchased the station many years after it had been dissembled by an unknown party. I do have a stack of poorly taken pictures to guide me though. It has been a bit of an puzzle, but I have been able to figure it all out.
I am very lucky to have been able to build this shop after I retired. By the way, they are never big enough. Mine was crammed full on moving day and I continue to work hard to weed out “stuff” that turns out maybe I don’t have to keep. It is a constant battle. Hoping to clear out enough stuff this winter to put up my 10’ cloth dome or perhaps build a bigger one. Time will tell.
