"The Christmas Star" or "Star Of Bethlehem" or as I like to call it, "The Heavens Declare The Birth Of A King" is no doubt my longest running and most popular show. It has run from mid November to mid January for eight years now and will begin the ninth run in November. The program runs from one and a half to two hours depending on how much of the material I remember. I use both the Minolta IIB and the A3P to show the myriad of planetary conjunctions in the first decade of BC and keep the waiting time down as the various projectors go through their paces. The Minolta handles the conjunctions in one and two BC and the A3P those in six and seven BC.
Our comments:
The Star of Bethlehem, from the biblical perspective to the scholarly, was so very well presented by you on Saturday. This should be an annual holiday program for the planetarium. We will see this again next year. Thank you.
My family and I went to the Star Barn Planetarium on Sunday evening and it was such a fantastic experience! Ron has built an observatory where we viewed the Conjunction and then we watched the Christmas Star presentation. It was beautiful, entertaining, informative, and so compelling. I honestly cannot wait to see another show soon. We are all incredibly lucky to have this beautiful planetarium in our community. Thanks so much for a memorable night Ron! Adam P.
You will truly be in awe when you see your first show here. Ron knows his stuff inside and out and has developed quite a remarkable planetarium. I recently saw the Christmas star show and was amazed how Ron was able to bring science and Bible history together in the stars. Looking forward to seeing more shows. Mary H.
Another bit of fan mail,
"Ron, my husband can't stop talking about you and the presentation yesterday. You were so insightful and the show was incredible; Joe and I will definitely be out to The Star Barn again in the very near future. Thanks again for hosting the seven of us in our small group.

I think I just broke my own horn so I will stop tooting it.
