Well were are going to be gone a little while, but its hard not to notice that 1) you arent loading any more and 2) nobody seems to care lol. Dont do anything crazy like delete it or anything you know? i say that now like Urania does, you know? I dont know anything about how big the files are and whether you'd consider breaking it up or sending some to other people, or trying to put it on the cloud, etc. Theres that archive guy at IPS. Owen might be interested in it. but DONT DELETE IT. have you got that?? lol send it HERE before you delete it. But i think you're right, theres a gig limit on these free boards and then they aint so free no mo. Will be gone a couple days, chow for now As Yoda would say, "Observant, you are". Projects around the house and my daughter's abodes are almost overwhelming to a person my age and limited energy. Uploading material one post at a time and then finding the proper pictures and uploading them is a bit of a project, so yes uploading has taken a bit of a back seat. Your second comment, "nobody seems to care" is most important. While I think some people care (as many visit) there is a lack of participation. When OC went down, people went off and started their own Facebook sights to record their various exploits. Bringing this planetarium version of OC back was designed to reestablish a clearing house once again for those of us with this insane hobby. I have always maintained that a BB with all of its separate threads is better at providing library type storage of information. Facebook just tends to stack information as it comes in and only for the single project of one player in these games. So participation is the name of the game. While I'm sure many if not all of you out there wish control over our various domains, it would be easy to copy any of your posts over to a new thread here, especially new thing that have happened since OC has gone down. If no one really cares then this will die a slow death. I'm also trying to keep this a "free" board. It is no fun having to beg for money each and every year, but I want to thank those of you who always came through in years past. OC would have died much sooner if not for your help. I fairly confident this board provider will soon place ad's on PAAH as no company would remain in business very long giving away free BB's (yes you can buy your way out but I'm trying to keep this free). How they calculate their costs to provide free BB's I have no idea. I imagine it depends on the number of members and the number of hits and the number of posts. This is more true if they use ad's to cover the cost of hosting the site. So if you want this BB to continue, post, post, and post some more. Invite friends to join. Did I mention post and post pictures. Post things you're doing, dream of doing, what went wrong, you get the idea.

W e are patient people (otherwise we would not be trying to do planetarium stuff!) I second Sir Gare's motion not to delete it - I will happily be a data haven if it comes to it (not that I will know where to start).
Sorry to hear about your impending medical appointment - really really hope it goes well.
This is what we need Scott, posts. It makes me feel I'm not just hitting my head against a brick wall.

There appears to be no connection to 8-5 at least as far as I can tell. Anybody else?

oh good, i dont know why it didnt work before. this is my new approach, pick an old episode at random then provide additional info without numbering them, it took two weeks to get them all back on podbean.

Thank you! Its all cobbled together from podcasts and then separate test kindle files, so there's alot of 'volumes' and 'series' instead of chapters referenced i should have changed. as RW would say, its typos give it charm lol, i like that!
chapter 3 is more to the public at large than us.

Sir Gare
the book arrived, it is a gem - idiosyncratic and friendly.
I love the cover photo - made me laugh out loud.
There is also a sort of symmetry about the book and the topic - it is a tangible analogue version of a digital podcast, and it is sort of DIY publishing for DIY projects.
As I have always said - episode 4-09 (Imagine this world pg28) is just perfect!
+ thank you so much for the shout out
