That is the truth. Like this morning all I get is "No Episodes Found" on the "It's The Stars You Know" site. Everything is blank as far as I can tell.
reassessing am I, and I conclude I really don't need any more 'new' episodes. if i do anything at all in the podcast realm going forward it would be sortof a repeating group of basic episodes, searching for other home planetaria life out in the galaxy kind of thing.

i think i've left too crooked a trail to follow on all these podcasts! That is the truth. Like this morning all I get is "No Episodes Found" on the "It's The Stars You Know" site. Everything is blank as far as I can tell. I keep thinking I answered these, then it looks like I didn't, so this may or may not be answered in multiple places lol . after reassessing the podcast situation, I think i've done as many episodes as i wanted to. now its if i do anything else podcasting, it will be more of a repeating dozen basic episodes over and over, like a search for other home planetarium life out in the galaxy.

What's in a name? A rose by any other name still smells as sweet. "Narrator Gare" or "Mr. Pinhole". At first I thought "Mr. Pinhole" sounded like a gangster from Gotham City but then I montaged over to a character from the musical "Chicago". John C. Reilly as "Mr. Cellophane". One must remember that "Narrator Gare" holds the whole thing together and that is very important as the other characters appear to be in it for themselves....but then again...."Mr. Pinhole" does have a charm to it.

I'm curious, did you hear from any of the History posters with their 'butt-loads' of giveaway slides?

At first I thought "Mr. Pinhole" sounded like a gangster from Gotham City but then I montaged over to a character from the musical "Chicago". John C. Reilly as "Mr. Cellophane". One must remember that "Narrator Gare" holds the whole thing together and that is very important as the other characters appear to be in it for themselves....but then again...."Mr. Pinhole" does have a charm to it. Urania did NOT object however to 'Muse Whisperer', so that edged out the pinhole stuff. Now of course it turns out that the picture I brought home from Vette City was Ligeia of the Sirens, but Urania is still here too. The narrative does not say how that is possible, yet it is. Not yet! She was hiding in plain sight! It takes forever to sort out visiting deities. Good references to other cultural phenomena! Ive never seen Chicago but I'd like to. I dont know much about Gotham City I'm afraid, but are you thinking of the Penguin maybe, or was there a Mister somebody? I took the pinhole though from that post on Mr Hicks FB board, where some guy asked for pinhole solutions and somebody else said 'you lost me at pinhole'. I found that an incredible statement, even if I didnt even understand it. Did he mean he didnt know what pinhole meant? Or was he turning up his nose at old, non optical planetarium gear? You couldnt tell. That statement sat out there for a horrible month before finally Mr Hicks replied, but rather incompletely I felt. First, he wrongly (I thought) dismissed every commercial 'night light' as not worth it (I have several that are very worth it). He did provide some good background for the homestar, which I'm coming to appreciate more and more. So that seemed a mixed bag. But it set me off on pinhole, with not only the possible new nicknames but also book titles, 'you had me at pinhole', stuff like that. I read it more like they didn't understand anything from pinhole on. Drilling one's own star ball is a substantial undertaking and most people are not up to it. I just thought that a character NAMED Mr. Pinhole sounded like a character from those comics or movies. Most people would have no idea that the title represented the leader of the build it yourself planetarium. Heck, most people don't even know what a planetarium is.

That's going to be it for the podbean comeback, they save your format etc for quite awhile if i decide to bring it back yet again, but i think the two facebook boards will be my home (along with here of course) for the time being. Experiments of all kinds are ongoing as usual. So the podbean will be gone no later than the 27th

I am quite sad about that. I appreciate that Duke, i am trying to think of a way to capture the whole thing somehow, i would send one to you and Ron and Owen at least for posterity if i can come up with something. it may have to be a memory stick with anthologies of each season on it, something like that. we'll see.

Most people don't realize how much time and work go into keeping like that alive. And then after a huge accumulation of material they change the price structure. Then where do you go from there.

Figured out a way to keep Podbean, now doing one episode per day on a free buzzsprout account.

You probably don't remember Steve as he originally joined OB because he was interested in building an observatory. As several others did, he migrated to the planetarium section out of curiosity and to offer his (more his wife's) talents with sewing planetarium domes.

Back in the days of Gustav and who was the guy banging away at his keyboard, Richard somebody?
