A beautiful blurb Duke of Cornwall that deserves its own slot in the next edition, the one where maybe I'll even put in a picture or two plus some page breaks lol. First editions are hard to come by though, get them while they are hot lol. Thanks again to everyone, it would have been cheaper but that was Amazon's minimum price for a paperback.

Just crossed the 100 books sold barrier! Still nowhere near the 'top 100' though. Ron, would you like me to send you a free one for review since you are the admin here, I'd love to see your quick review if its not too much trouble. If not I understand too.

(I thought you would never ask.)
I thought I would never survive this latest trip but somehow managed.
Still recovering though, a million things going on here at the same time. I need your address again emailed or messaged if thats ok, its lost in a pile of papers somewhere in the tin can, soon to be the 'Talk In Closet' if you saw the latest podcast episodes. Big download numbers from Iowa and Florida by the way on the podcast, thanks to Charlie and Linda (I guess) for those as well as thanks to you and Scott for your steadfastness.
Still learning how all this works with Amazon, I was in touch with Ms Fontes also who said contact April Whitt about getting it reviewed in the Planetarian, which I haven't done yet. She told me I couldn't review my own book, dam!
Once I get your address I'll see if I can just send it directly to you via Amazon, or if I have to send it here then mail it separately.
I don't think Stephen King ever did it this way, but I think I'll probably do an improved more formatted and referenced version of this and the culture one and call it a day.

I just announced the second ebook will be free anyway, so I'll hold off a few days so I can send both in one pack, thanks for the email. This was after hemmng and hawing about how Amazon's 'Author Copy' thing works, they arent really what they seem to be, they charge shipping on top of a reduced rate, so Bezos still gets his pound of flesh lol.

That is a great sell number so quickly. My daughter would be envious as she is very disappointed in the response to her try at book writing. She has had good reviews but can't even break even against publishing costs. The really sad part is I think it turned her off writing. It's all I can do to get her to finish the final book in her trilogy and bring the story to a conclusion. Oh well, such is life.

She writes beautifully! She was one of my inspirations to do even a small book. I've read that fiction is much harder than non-fiction to sell. I hope she doesn't quit
the 100 books 'sold' I quoted included Kindle online only ebooks, and many of them were in the Kindle Unlimited program, which means people pay 10 bucks a month and read everything free so no commisions. Of hardcopy books I get a commision on, I think I made about 23 bucks lol.
I'm about to apply some updates to the First Edition, but according to Nathan there can be many printings within an edition, so this will still be First Editon 2nd Printing. I need to add some page breaks, some sources I omitted, and fix some awkward prose. I'm working feverishly to get the second smaller book done in the next few days, I took some pictures today for the cover. It will be a collection of essays on starlight, the attractions, the distractions, and what the stars would say.

I see the sideways picture syndrone seems to have cleared up, so added back avatar and signature with book link. I just ordered you one for review purposes since you are board Admin, but THEY PUT PO next to the box, so we'll see if you get it, it was automatically filled in - I'll get half of this back in commissions (40 percent on paperbacks) so with the free shipping it only cost me about 3 bucks. Shipping to Ron Walker, PO BOX XXX, XXX ROAD -, XXXXXXX, XX, XXXXX-XXXX, United States Wednesday, Oct. 5 Estimated delivery Indeed. So here's the best of the dumb Book 2 covers I hastily put together yesterday, turns out I DID have my new Grinnell Visor on. The stars on sticks were laboriously assembled over a grueling 15 minute period. I look like what I am, a 70 yearold duffer at the home lol. I don't think I'll make that end of September deadline either, no surprise there. Attachments:

I took out the sideways picture, I thought that had gone away but it was back. That book has been delayed though anyway. I have sold 3 more paperbacks though!
Ok NOW I'll stop posting now to give the Duke a chance to take over second place.

This will go on the back cover of Book 2 of my 2 Book series, Stars in Culture kind of thing. Never mind that dolls head in the background. I'll explain that later. And yes, I hate this haircut I'll stop posting now to give the Duke a chance to surpass me and take over second place. You should try for at least 100 posts.

I never would have thought so many people were interested in planetariums to make such perfect copies of the most iconic projector ever manufactured. Looking forward to the book.
